PERMANENT OPENING for a Storage Engineer in Kansas City or Nashville, Tennessee
We need applicants that are 75% post-sales oriented and 25% certification training and pre-sales support.
Server Storage and Archival Engineer

Essential Functional Requirements
Demonstrated skills: Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; effective organizational skills; good project and customer service skills; able to organize and execute detailed work assignments efficiently and correctly; must be flexible in work assignments.
Ability to: Participate in pre and post sales engagements plan and organize own work; apply corporate policies; implement new solutions; work effectively within a team; communicate with other cross technology groups; adjust schedule to accommodate peak work periods;. Willing to travel up to 75% and support multi week/month engagements within the region and if needed through out US
Working Knowledge of: Designing and enhancing a large scale SAN environments, RAID, High-Availability technologies (e.g., Multipathing, and offsite archiving,)
Qualifications:
Education: Four year degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
Experience: 7 to 10 years of hands on technical experience with various certifications including EMC and HP Storage. Experience with a manufacturer or reseller in a post-sales and occasionally pre-sales technical role. Prior experience designing Storage Area Networks &managing subsequent production support a plus
Familiarity with emerging storage technologies a plus
