Organization: Founded in 1942, Wycliffe Bible Translators works with an international association of organizations in language development, literacy and Scripture translation. The language work of Wycliffe and its partners empower communities' economic, social and spiritual development, helping to create a new life-story for marginalized people in about 90 countries around the world. Location: Territory is Southern CA, from Los Angeles to San Diego Salary: $65,000 plus benefits Job Description: The MGO will raise large gifts, pledges and letters of intent from individuals, foundations and corporations within the Southern CA territory. Working from a home office, the MGO will be responsible for personal contact and cultivation of about 150 existing major donors in addition to developing new major donor prospects. The MGO may also recruit a regionally based team of major gift volunteers to support his/her efforts in identifying, qualifying and soliciting major gift donors. Job Requirements: Must have at least 5 years of increasingly productive development or sales experience and at least 2 years working with high net worth individuals. Must be able to travel at least 30%. Should share the values of bringing hope and healing to those in the world without God's Word. .
