This is a CONTRACT TO PERMANENT POSITION (CONTRACT DURATION IS 10 MONTHS)
TITLE: MAINFRAME FINANCIAL ANALYST
CANNOT USE THIRD PARTIES (CORP TO CORP, ETC.)
CANDIDATE MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE U.S. FOR ANY EMPLOYER
Pay Rate DURING CONTRACT: OPEN
IF YOU BECOME PERMANENT, SALARY WILL BE IN 80K RANGE
Qualifications:

MUST be able to travel to Riverwoods, IL and work full time 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday REQUIRED.
NEED a technology and Finance background
Vendor Management experience
Hands on mainframe TSO and/or Hyperion Essbase knowledge/experience (or similar advanced reporting experience) is a plus!!!
Description:
Publish monthly internal management reporting, including variance.
Publish financial forecasts
Liaison with vendor Finance and management for the budget.
Ambassador of Vendor Management (VM) Department.
Audit multi million dollar monthly invoice to verify accuracy.
Negotiate terms, conditions and pricing with Vendor
Researches questions surrounding the outsourcing contract.
Research cost questions (primarily mainframe)
Ad hoc questions on cost of systems and/or functions
Analyze potential cost of new systems.
