This is a TEMPORARY POSITION: 1 YEAR
Senior Accountant
Hourly Pay Rate: $40/hr to $45/hr
Qualifications:
There will be a $35 per diem per day for food and then hotel, rental car and airfare will be covered by the employer.
Employer will pay for candidate to return home for family visits during contract.
Private investor accounting experience REQUIRED
RECENT experience (within the last 8 months) using fidelity software REQUIRED
Candidate will have to be able to work for 1 month in Milwaukee and then will be in Florence, SC for the remaining portion of the contract. (Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm) 40hrs per week REQURED
Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance or a combination of education and/ or experience is preferred; CPA, CFA, CMA or MBA preferred
5+ years of professional accounting work experience REQUIRED
Advanced MS Excel, Access and Word REQUIRED
Description:
Responsible for preparing accounting and delinquency reports and remitting funds to investors on sold loans in compliance with the contracted terms of individual agreements. In addition, Specialists prepare checks, initiate wire transfers, maintain accurate loan accounting records and maintain/reconcile general ledger and savings accounts. Loan Servicing Investor Reporting Specialists also prepare loan accounting records prior to sale to investors, and make adjustments to reflect accurate initial balances. Will be handling up to 25 investor profiles depending on the loan size
