Instrumentation Engineer Job Description:
Aerotek's Client is looking for an Instrumentation Engineer. This company is a consulting company that covers all phases of controls projects from writing, or assisting in writing, specifications for their client's projects to pass on to their client's Contractors or Sub-Contractors to
conducting operator training courses, and everything in between.
They are looking for an Instrumentation Engineer to work a 1 to 1 1/2 month contract. If this person does well, they will keep them on their staff for upcoming projects up to 6 - 9 months total.
The Instrumentation engineer will be working on a project for a major university in Georgia. They will be programming the energy management system for chillers. They will be doing this for 2 of the university's
buildings. This person will be programming this in Composer software (this is a type of Bailey/ABB software). If the person has
their own computer with Composer software on it, they can work from home. Otherwise, they will have to report to the office which
is in Monroe, GA. One to two weeks of the contract will be onsite at the university loading and testing their work.
Requirements: 5+years of instrumentation experience, Composer or Wintools software experience, NO degree required.
