Situated on a 30-acre campus three miles south of Reading, PA is the HealthSouth Reading Rehabilitation Hospital. We are the only freestanding medical rehabilation facility in the area treating neurological, orthopedic and general reahabiliation patients. Proven clinical rehabilitation excellence has been the cornerstone of this facility since 1960. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The quiet rural campus is located within 60-90 minutes of Harrisburg, Hershey, Lebanon county, Philadelphia and Allentown. Facility is seeking Therapist to service the Berks County Area. We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist Home Health. Duties of this position inlcude the following: Evaluates patient's cognitive, perceptual, motor assets and liabilities for functional performance in a home setting. Provides goal directed, activity-oriented treatment to promote optimum independence in work/school, self-care, and leisure at home. Ensures continuation of performance through effective education of the patient, family or support system. Provides adaptive methods and equipment as appropriate to enhance performance in the home. Eligible for registration/registered by National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy Program. CPR Certification. Valid PA Driver's License.
