Status: W-2 employee of Corva assigned to customer*s facility

***This will be a work from home position. You must be able to come onsite for approximately two weeks of on-site onboarding/training at on-site rates would be necessary.***
Job Description
Provide the highest level of service for all areas of Pfizer Global Manufacturing-IT*s EDI/Electronic Commerce services.
Proactively monitor and support the production environment.
Ensure that all scheduled jobs complete successfully and that data is received and processed accurately.
Make recommendations and coordinate efforts to sustain a leading edge environment capable of supporting industry best practices.
Develop and implement both short term and long term solutions to production problems.
Recommend, design, develop and implement production support administrative systems.
Manage projects, under the supervision of a Project Lead, for new development.
Implementation responsibilities include mapping, testing and communications set up for new EDI/EC transactions.
*Roll out* new trading partners into existing release/version of transactions.
Support ad-hoc requests.
Communicate effectively with internal clients and external customers on a daily basis.
Required Skills
Minimum 7 years work experience in various Information Technology areas, including application design and development required.
5 years EDI experience working in a UNIX environment required.
Gentran Integration Suite experience required.
should have seasoned analytical skills with the ability to understand abstract internal client/external customer requirements, interpret those requirements, draw conclusions and develop business solutions.
Good interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with customers, end-users and technical personnel.
Ability to take a hands-on approach to handle entire projects, under the direction of a project lead, from initial business specifications through to completion.
Desired Skills
Java, XML and UC4 scheduler experience are a plus.
Knowledge of EDI communications is also a plus, including Connect:Enterprise and Cyclone Interchange packages.
Bachelors Degree in Business Information Systems or Computer Science
