We are currently recruiting Technical Writers for an upcoming project to create operators documentation for a Rail Car Maintenance Manual and Parts Catalog. We are looking for a Technical Writers with at least 5 years of solid technical writing experience along with 2+ years writing documentation specifically on Rail Cars for the Transit Industry. Experience should include writing, editing, formatting maintenance manuals, parts catalogs or other related documents.
Work from home as long as you have high-speed Internet connection and an established home office. Your Rail Car writing experience is more important than your location but Writers local to Manhattan, NY a plus as this is where you will go for meetings/face-time with the client.
This is a dynamic project and consultants must be able to work independently and have excellent communication skills.
This project does require a lot but will reward you with great references and potential long-term contract work with other future projects. Pay rate is $35 per hour on a W2 basis.
