An executive position selling professional Intellectual Property services, with the opportunity to sell related research services.
Position Description:
As an Evalueserve Client Executive you will sell and manage custom, strategy level engagements. Each project is unique in scope, topic, deliverable, and timeframe. Our work environment is nimble and fast-paced. You will be dealing with top-level executives in small, medium and large-sized firms, and you need experience and self-confidence to excel in this role. Hence, you must be a proven, ethical, self-starter with a motivation to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Sales Person's Role
We are seeking full time Direct Sales professionals to lead the growth of our Intellectual Property services at Evalueserve. We are looking for Client Executives to sell to medium and large corporations in the US. Candidates should be comfortable with the sale and management of custom Intellectual Property research/consulting projects targeted at senior level executives.
Responsibilities:
.Develop and maintain business plans to achieve new business goals
.Prospect new client opportunities, including lead generation and development
.Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients
.Prepare necessary paperwork to process contracts
.Complete all sales forecasts on time
.Work from home, with occasional travel, mostly local (on average 10% to 20% of time)
Requirements
.5+ years in sales and/or business development, preferably related to research, analysis and/or consulting.
.Bachelor degree necessary, graduate degree preferred
.Familiarity with the basic concepts of patents, patent litigation, and licensing
.Contacts for initial sales in the following areas:
-partners in the patent litigation and patent prosecution practices of small, medium and large law firms
-in-house patent lawyers/counsel at medium and large-sized companies
-CTOs/CEOs at technology startups
-Principals at IP strategy consulting boutiques
.Polished in managing clients, with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
.Excellent communication, negotiating and closing skills with customers and prospects. Aggressive, great attitude, well organized, self-starter and self-managed.
.Experience in account development, solution selling, and interacting with senior level clients
.Experience in closing transaction s with long sales cycles by implementing and driving a sophisticated sales process.
.Conversational expertise with statistical analytics and/or data modelling. Analytics experience a plus
.Superior communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
.Ability to work effectively and exceed goals with little supervision
.Demonstrable entrepreneurial aptitude, driven to earn commissions and meet goals
