Business Development Representative

Description
Position is responsible for discovering and establishing new customers, cultivating a relationship with them while assessing their business needs and guiding them through the sales process.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Prospecting new customers
Develop relationships with customers
assess business needs
Guide customers through the sales process
expand business with existing high potential customers
Serves as the direct contact and technical representative to individuals at all levels of the customer s organization.
Requirements
Qualifications/Skills:
Associates Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 5-7 years sales experience including:
? New business development
? New account set up
? Professional and technical proposal writing
? Customer education which results in specialty product/service purchases vs. commodity purchases with existing and new customers.
Strong background in project management and have a working knowledge of the transformer maintenance and/or electric industry.
Excellent analytical, prioritization, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Must have the ability to create a favorable impression for the company to all customers and display a high level of integrity and initiative.
Competent with Microsoft Office suite.
Database experience preferred.
Position is salaried with no commission. 20% Face to Face Sales, 80% phone Sales. You can work from home, candidates outside Ohio welcome to apply.
