C# version), multiple custom portlets (ASP.NET, .ASP, and some older Java), and several additional .NET web applications and services. Describe the basic functions the contractor will be involved with: The contractors will be responsible for design, development, testing, and maintaining web applications for the Portal team: ?Requires at least 2-3 years experience in web application development and object oriented programming using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server ?Create detailed design documents and diagrams ?Development and modification of .NET web applications, web services, user interfaces, and database interactions Required Skills: .NET Web Developer (C#, ASP.NET) Significant experience developing .NET web applications and web services using object oriented programming Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or related field required Person needs to be a self-starter who can work independently. Must be able to work well with ?virtual? team members (some team members work from home). Able to take direction from lead developer/architect.
