Job description: .
Install, maintain &upgrade SAP R/3 4.6C and SAP BW 3.5 on UNIX and DB2 for z/OS
platform.
Install support packages and add-ons.
Perform kernel upgrades.
Troubleshoot and research SAP basis problems and apply applicable OSS notes.
Perform various SAP basis administration support tasks including transport
management, print management and job management
Perform client copies and system copies.
Setup and maintain CCMS alert infrastructure.
Perform DB2 DBA functions including extent management, DB2 performance problem
resolution, RUNSTATS and REORGS when required.
Participate in bi-yearly disaster recovery exercise.
Provide first level support to developers and IS staff.
Research ABAP performance problems and advise developers on code optimizations
including SQL and index recommendations.
Work with IT staff on UNIX and z/OS specific issues
Work with IS security staff on SAP authorization issues.
Provide On-Call (24x7) support and problem resolution.
Install, maintain &upgrade SAP Solution Manager on UNIX and DB2 UDB platform.
Install, maintain &upgrade Vertex tax calculation software on UNIX and Oracle
platform.
Participate in SAP R/3 and BW upgrades as needed
Work with QMX (?) for documentation and able to assist in migrating
documentation to QMX
Work with ManageNow and other IBM tools
Manage concurrent tasks and changing priorities
Interface with customer technical staff and IBM account staff
This position is a work at home assignment although you must reside in the US
and be a US citizen or Green card holder.
