Description

Johnson &Johnson Health Care Systems Inc., a member of the Johnson &Johnson Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Regional Corporate Account Director in Chicago, Illinois.

Johnson &Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson &Johnson franchises.

The Regional Corporate Account Director will serve as the primary J&J interface to the customer senior management, leads account planning, and is responsible for execution of the agreed upon J&J business plan. Individual will be responsible for leading and managing Johnson &Johnson account teams to accomplish corporate objectives in select target accounts (hospital systems &large acute care hospitals). Utilize Johnson &Johnson teams and customer input to construct a comprehensive value proposition that incorporates medical/surgical, pharmaceutical, and diagnostic company resources. Direct Johnson &Johnson activities in an account to accomplish business plan objectives that include contracting, e-business, revenue/channel management, and insure compliance through resource deployment. Stay current regarding national and local market trends and provide feedback to teams and JJHCS management. Has regional responsibility for $70 Million in annual J&J volume while providing leadership to execute operating company business plans for growth in strategic target accounts. All activities coordinated with appropriate Operating Company team members as warranted. Key Accountabilities include: Creates and implements strategic business plans based on customer, HCS and Operating Company goals that deliver customer-driven solutions. Facilitates contract portfolio approach, leads offer development, negotiation and implementation of contracts. Develops offers for customer-focused business programs &solutions ensuring that programs offered are aligned with account strategy and business plan. Manages and coordinates RFP activities between account and Operating Companies ensuring customer and Operating Company timeframes are met.

Requirements

Successful candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 8 years business experience to include 4 years of sales and 2 years of management is required. Excellent problem-solving skills are required.

Must have experience working in the healthcare industry to include one of the following: medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or laboratories. Strong experience with RFP's and contracts is required. Highly refined negotiations skills are required. Strategic Business Planning experience is preferred.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence across wide ranging audiences, with a proven ability to motivate successful teams is required. Excellent interpersonal &influencing skills are required. Excellent presentation and communication skills are required. Strong computer skills with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook is required. Primary weekly travel is coverage of target accounts between St. Louis and Kansas City. Overnights are dictated by account activity and regional/national meeting activity. Regional meetings occur 3 times annually across southern states.

Corporate meetings occur approximately 2-3 times annually across U.S. locations.
