Assignment Capsule The Provider Relations Market Support Manager ensures the education and satisfaction of Providers in the Humana network by maintaining excellent relationships and facilitating membership growth &retention. Analyzes specific issues pertaining to Providers and implements Educates Providers on Humana's products and services Builds and fosters positive relationships between Humana and Providers Key Competencies Builds Trust: You honor your word by doing what you say you are going to do. Communication: You actively listen to others to understand their perspective and ensure continuous understanding regardless of communication channel or audience. Problem Solving: You are a problem solver with the ability to encourage others in collaborative problem solving. Acting as both a broker and consultant regarding resources, you engage others in problem solving without taking over. Role Essentials 3-4 years of previous Provider contracting or Provider relations experience Solid understanding of managed care, Senior Products operations, sales and network contracting Ability to complete and implement projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to analyze business processes as they relate to Provider relations, sales and network issues Self motivated and able to work independently Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office products Role Desirables College Degree preferred Reporting Relationships You will be in the Medicare Operations area under the direction of the Market Director of Senior Products Operations. Additional Information You must be willing and able to work from home and travel 80% of the time.
