The work is on a current Web Enabled Data Base System which is being using by a Nationwide Sports Association. The system currently maintains a membership database of 10,000 members, handles tournament data, rankings, ratings, all membership functions, credit card sign-ups, etc. The need is for a qualified programmer to be able to integrate new code with the existing system, fix bugs, integrate forms into the data base, and enhance performance of existing code. Programmer can work from home. We do hone conferences and email for task assignments. Candidate would require good internet access to our colocated server to test and replace code. We would like the candidate to be a problem solver and self starter. Sometimes quick turn-around is necessary, especially on tournament weekends. Bug fixes and enhancing performance of web pages-critical.
This position is ideal for someone who might have a day job and is looking for extra cash-willing to work evenings and weekends.
