DESCRIPTION .
Personal Assistant needed for an independent, work-from-home PR/marketing business owner. Duties to include a mix of professional and personal tasks. Most of the work will need to be done on-site but some will be available to be done off-site. Perfect for a college student or someone seeking part-time work as there is reasonable flexibility in the scheduling. Job will include: new client prospecting and research; administrative chores; after-school child care 1-2 afternoons a week; housekeeping; and home projects. Potential exists to do more in the field of PR, such as graphic design for client advertising and other things according to your personal interests, strengths and motivation to work and excel. Initially to be a 10-hour-a-week position, preferably done in 1-2 days a week. Make yourself invaluable to me and get more hours! Start date negotiable.

I need help in all aspects of my daily life -- business and personal -- and feel confident I can find all that I need in one person. I've identified where I'm strong and where I need help and that's where you'll fit in. I'm a very reasonable person who understands that "life happens," but I need someone on whom I can depend -- someone who is there when they say they'll be there, and who gets the job done right and on time every time. You'll be paid the same whether the task is of a personal nature (ie vacuuming) or professional (designing an ad). Both are of equal importance and value to me because if you take care of those things, my head will be clearer and I'll be able to focus on the stuff I need to do to make my business run successfully. I'm the sole provider for my family so being able to work effectively is very important. I'm open to suggestions and if there is something you want to try, ask. I might not always be able to accommodate your wish, but I promise to try. .
REQUIREMENTS .
Must have your own transportation. This is a non-smoking environment. Full background check, drug screening and references required. No college necessary, but preference will be given to someone with a desire to work in the field of marketing/PR, as well as someone with design skills. Must be detailed, organized, and very self motivated. Software skills: Word, Excel, Access, Excel, Publisher, Illustrator, Photoshop.
