THE JOB
Executive Leaders Radio (ELR) is expanding their on air time and is moving into new markets. We need additional independent, highly-motivated, project-driven professional individuals with business experience to host a one-hour radio show. Executive Leaders will train you with the media skills necessary to create a great expert-content filled show on leadership in the business sector. No media experience is necessary we want someone with professional experience who can discuss business ideas on air. This person will:
1) host and manage the show based on ELR s success model
2) be trained by ELR on media basics
3) be assisted by an Associate Producer who does the bulk of the pre-production work
This is a part time position and the prep work can be done at home. .
REQUIREMENTS .
EXECUIVE LEADERS RADIO
We have been successfully on air for 1 years on WWDB, Philadelphia s #1 Business News Radio Station. We interview our region s top executive leaders in fifteen minute segments. Currently we air on Friday mornings, 10am noon, following the nationally syndicated Imus In The Morning show.
Due to the program s huge success, we have been asked to expand our hours and also to bring our format into other markets. The focus of each show is to educate and inform our listening audience regarding the leadership and management issues facing today s business leaders. The interview is truly an informal conversation. Throughout this conversation we ll talk about management style and philosophy, lessons learned, industry trends, challenges and opportunities ahead. This provides each guest an opportunity to showcase their career and their enterprise.
Our audience appreciates each guest s participation, perspective and professional opinion. Our guests have included the CEO, COO, CFO, CIO and/or President of AIG, Brandywine Hospital, Chester County, Deloitte Touche, Endo Pharmaceuticals, Franklin Publishers, Global Fit, Healthcare Advocates, Interdigital, K Nex, Lee Hecht Harrison, NFL Films, Oki Data, Penn Mutual, Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Point Roll, QVC, Sovereign Bank, TastyKake, Unisys, Villanova University and WHYY.
COMPENSATION
$30 per hour, 4-6 hrs each week, approx.
Permanent, long term, part-time position. Inside track on full-time advancement.
