Job Details
Seeking qualified candidates with 8+ Years Oracle Dba to join the IT operational
services for a large organization and take on the role of a service provider.
All applying candidates must have experience handling a one-to-many support
Model Oracle 9i/10g -- Solaris, HP/UX, AIX, Linux and Windows platforms.
Candidates must have strong experience with backup, recovery and cloning of
Oracle databases, remote resources, especially off shore teams, hot backup
methodology, RMAN and Oracle Data Guard (ODG),TSM, Legato Networker and Veritas
Netback, excellent Shell and/or Perl scripting 24x7 on-call support and weekend
work as per project and staffing needs. Candidates may work remotely from home
office or an IBM location in USA. All candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in
Computer Science or Computer Engineering, Oracle 9i/10g, Oracle db support using
TSM, Legato and Veritas, Scripting-Shell and/or Perl scripting, Hot backup
methodology, RMAN, Oracle Data Guard and working with remote teams.
