Provide a high level of analytically based leadership to support company/team objectives, as well as those of key retail customers.
Own customer interface AT the cATegory level, with focus on improving customer and company sales/profits in major cATegories.
Customize corporATe cATegory plans for assigned key customers via integrATion of analytics and consumer insights. Maintain expertise in key retailer CATegory Business Planning processes, tools and timelines.
Lead cATegory long range planning and review meetings with customers. ATtend other significant customer calls as appropriATe to assist sales.
Share key customer results on-going versus critical cATegory initiATives.
Provide consumer and cATegory insights input to sales team during the customer business planning process and assist in refining elements of plan in a consultive fashion.
Monitor and identify industry trends, competitive threATs and alternATe strATegies.
Manage field sales ad-hoc requests and assist in training team on tools, systems and cATegory mATerials.
Planogram assistance when required.
Requires solid technical skills and knowledge of syndicATed dATa systems, spreadsheets, graphics, shelf management tools and cATegory management dATabases.
Background presenting to groups and key retail customers.
Minimum BA/BS degree and 6 years relATed experience with a consumer product goods concern or syndicATed dATa supplier.
Familiarity and history WORKing with key supermarket retailers in the Southeast, Publix particularly important.
ApproximATe travel 35%.
This position is with a multi billion dollar company with a stable of highly recognized food brands.
There is some WORK FROM HOME flexibility, but must be prepared to report to the team office locATion on a fairly regular basis.

Must have relevant background with a food/CPG manufacturer in the retail supermarket class of trade.
