Job Details
IBM GBS is seeking Consultants w/strong knowledge of logistics process &
operations, software &an understanding of Fed. Gov't (i.e. DoD) transportation
&distribution processes. Focuses on logistics business transformation
activities in a client consulting environment. May take either a strategic or
tactical view of a company's logistics functions. Work proactively w/clients to
refine current business capabilities which may come in the form of process,
information technology, organization enablement, or knowledge. Identify best
practices &client performance gaps. Use tools to identify, align, &change the
factors that affect performance, stability, &teaming &develop comprehensive
transformation recommendations. Responsible for identifying &documenting
Logistics requirements &analyzing these requirements from a business
perspective. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment

Study: Operations Analytics, Logistics, Transportation or related field.
May require up to 100% travel to client site.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 3 - 5 years external logistics consulting experience.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate client

travel. PREFERRED SKILLS: Team lead or Project Management experience desirable.
