Inside Sales Representative
Due to five (5) straight years of explosive growth averaging more than 100% per year, Workforce Software is adding multiple new positions including an Inside Sales Representative. This position is located in our Livonia, MI Headquarters.
Workforce Software develops and implements web-based, enterprise application software for employee time and attendance. Our customers are large organizations who need to manage their workforce with an enterprise class web-based time and attendance system. Our solution is gaining widespread acceptance as the industry-leading solution for organizations wishing to automate their time and attendance processes. Our system has the right functionality and technology and we continue to make large investments in new functionality to maintain our market leading position.
Job Purpose:
Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders; understanding and interpreting business requirements; providing software product information; developing accounts.
Duties:
* Prospect for time and attendance customers by developing leads in targeted industries, calling trade show contact lists, and using the Internet to analyze new opportunities and find contact information.
* Educate prospects on best practices in time and attendance processes and explaining the value and ROI of a time and attendance solution.
* Present time and attendance products and services by providing explanations and literature; arranging for introductory product demonstrations; organizing field sales team when required.
* Follow-up on new prospects by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information.
* Generate interest throughout an enterprise by calling into other departments and getting them involved in the evaluation process.
* Build and expand accounts by maintaining rapport; answering requests; introducing new products and services, and upgrades; studying account needs; coordinating with external sales force.
* Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as, daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
* Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Skills/Qualifications:
*5-10 years successful business-to-business sales experience
*3 years recent telesales experience
*Experience with Siebel Online
*Documented sales achievement
*Experience prospecting
*Data Entry Skills
*Enterprise software experience is a plus
*Must be confident and motivated
***It is possible to work from home, or at our headquarters in Livonia for this position!***
This position may require 5-10% travel annually.
