Field Service Technician - San Francisco(East Bay)
Universal Computer Systems, Inc. is a stable, progressive, privately owned corporation in business since 1970. We specialize in the development, sales and service of the most innovative in-house IT solution available for the business of auto dealerships.
We are seeking a Field Service Technician in the San Francisco (East Bay) area. In this position you will provide hardware maintenance and support in order to promote client satisfaction. There will be work on PC's, CRT's, mainframes, tape drives, modems, printers, controllers &other devices. This position is also responsible for system upgrades, as well as installations of UCS and KeyTrak systems. A properly stocked inventory of spare parts, maintained by you, will assist you in maintenance and repair. You will work from your home and travel to client sites as needed.
After completing a 5-week paid training period in College Station, Texas, you will be responsible for an assigned territory. Training will consist of hands-on tutorial, while in Texas, and field training with a regional supervisor. All tools needed to complete this job are provided, including a laptop and company vehicle (gas and maintenance are paid for).
Requirements:
Must live in the East San Francisco Bay area
Previous electronics experience or training required
Excellent communication skills
Prefer A+ certification
Military electronics is a plus
Possess a valid driver s license with no more than 2 moving violations
