assignment available for a DB2 DBA.
Job Title: DB2 DBA
Job Location: work from home
Pomeroy IT Solutions has been in the IT industry since 1981. Today, we employ
over 4,000 people, have 26 locations and provide companies with IT solutions
ranging from application development to storage strategies to desktop
management.
Job Duration: 12 months
Requirements:
Installation, configuration and testing of DB2 V8 and database products on
distributed platforms (AIX, UNIX,Windows,Linux,etc.). DB2 products include UDB,
CAE, DB2Connect, Data Warehouse. Non-DB2 software includes Oracle, MS SQL,
Informix, Sybase. 2+ years of AIX and UNIX command level is required. 2 years of
Windows NT. 1 year installing DB2 software. Strong DB2 problem determination and
resolution skills necessary.
Weekend work may be required at times
Flexible evening and weekend work schedule required - will be required to
participate in 24x7 oncall rotation.
No third parties or H1B's please.
This is a work from home position but you must reside in the U.S. and be a U.S.
citizen or GC holder.
