WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelors Degree or an equivalent insurance professional designation is desired
3-5 years minimum of Property &Casualty experience
Strong claims experience with focus on sales and customer service

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?
This position is responsible for supporting the profitable growth and retention of large accounts for Hartford Property Casualty through the sale and service of Hartford Claim. The candidate must be able to understand an account's needs and be able to develop and deliver a claim service offering which differentiates The Hartford in the marketplace. This position is an integral member of the underwriting sales team, responsible for articulating the Hartford Claim Value in new business presentations as well as negotiation and coordination of the claim services.
This position negotiates and coordinates the claim services and is also a liaison between the claim organization, the account and the agent/broker to assist in the overall improvement of loss costs through detailed analysis of claim results, including the coordination and execution of loss cost containment initiatives.
This position serves as the claim single point of contact for the agent/broker and account for claim account management issues. This individual provides local education and training of agents and business partners on new claim products and services. An additional component of the position will be to support the sales and service of the Regional Orlando underwriting office.

WHAT ELSE CAN YOU TELL ME?
The Claim Service Consultant will have office space at the Orlando Regional Office in Lake Mary, Florida. However, there will be flexibility to work from home. The territory covered will include the entire state of Florida. A company car, cell phone, and a wireless laptop will be provided.
