Are you a sales "hunter" in the B2B (business to business) realm? Do you thrive on hunting down the right decision-makers in an organization? Do you have a low-key, professional approach on the phone?

How it all started. Sales-OnSite was launched to fill a very critical need. Most business owners and sales teams do not have the time or the skills to effectively and consistently prospect for new business. As a result, their sales stall or fluctuate wildly throughout the year. Not a good thing!

Here is where you could come in. You provide the initial stage of business development (prospecting activities) to various clients who need your business-to-business sales expertise on a flexible, project basis. This work is done remotely from your own home office.

What does this provide for an experienced, high level sales executive? You are exposed to different companies, products and services of emerging companies (start ups) and dynamic small businesses (under $25 million revenue). Your sales knowledge grows. Working for different clients keeps the prospecting interesting. And...there's always a possibility that they may want to hire you full-time. A win-win situation.

How your talent is compensated. Compensation is on a competitive hourly basis and depends on your experience and the project needs of the client. Hourly pay ranges from $25 to $30 per hour. A typical client would need your services about 8 to 10 hours per week during normal business hours (8AM to 5PM). Sometimes the client you are working with is in a different time zone (Pacific, Central or Eastern) which may require calling a little earlier than 8 or a little later than 5. You can work for multiple clients each week depending on how busy you want to be.

Would this be a good fit? This opportunity is ideal for someone who might be in-between sales jobs. You still have time to job hunt and it can be added to your resume. This also works for someone who wants more control over their schedule and wants to work only 10-30 hours week due to other commitments. Opportunities are also available for Project Managers.

This work is primarily done remotely from your own home office. If you are working with a client in your local market, you may need to go to the client location once or twice for training.
Because of the remote nature of this work, you will need to have a professionally set up home office environment: quiet area to make phone calls, high speed Internet and a flat fee monthly long distance program.
You need at least 5 years of successful business to business sales experience with specific skills in effective prospecting.
