Our client who is medium-size, growing company seeks a PHP Developer with 4-5 years experience to work on a wide variety of opensource and other applications, and who has broad-based skills.
They are a unique company and a smart, small staff of 12 IT folks that prizes the individual, and as such, the opportunity for this person's work will be driven by their skills and aptitude, not by the management structure.
This position interacts with users and will be responsible for developing, modifying and supporting multiple applications, as well as performing usability testing and configuration management in an IIS/Tomcat/PHP/.NET/My SQL/SQL Server environment. The current applications areas are: finance, retail, donation processing, case management, time management/work order, employment/HR, content management and more. This person will start by working on the "glue" and our corporate intranet, and their aptitude and skills will dictate what they work on next. Knowledge of SQL is required, and pluses if you know Ruby, Python or .NET. The company is led by progressive management, has strong vision and a long presence in central Arizona, and expects to add 5 retail stores per year .
