Responsibilities
Successful candidates should be highly energized and willing to take on the challenges of a fast-paced environment. The incoming candidate will undertake complex re-architecture projects requiring specialized knowledge of voice technologies, services and applications. Additionally, candidates will be expected to:
*Analyze business processes/technologies and work with customers to determine and document business requirements translating them into clear and concise technical specifications.
*Coordinate across multiple technology organizations to plan, design and implement cost-effective technology solutions to solve complex business problems while ensuring alignment with United*s Enterprise Architecture strategy.
*Work with project management to achieve project implementation on time and on budget.
*Be accountable for detailed designs based on the committed architecture and standards.
*Lead and coordinate all phases of voice solutions delivery including planning, design, build, testing, ordering and transition to production support.
Technical Skills:
*In depth knowledge of legacy analog and TDM voice systems; KSU, PBX, ACD, VM, VRU, CTI, IVR, etc.
*Thorough knowledge of LEC, CAP and IXC network capabilities/service offerings; NIVR, trunking, CTX, TFN, etc.
*Clear understanding of the evolutionary path of TDM voice to IP in a converged network; Experience with global rollouts of VOIP infrastructure is a definite plus.
*Clear understanding of the differences of network services between the US and International carriers
*Thorough knowledge of call flow within an ACD; VDNs, vectors, agent-log-in IDs, coverage path, announcements, etc.
*Thorough knowledge of Contact Center applications; WFM, QA, collaboration, e-mail, blended agent, work - at - home , etc. Thorough knowledge of VoIP solutions; UM, hoteling, follow-me services, SIP, etc
