Qualifications

BS/BA Degree preferred, engineering or computer science.
3 years minimum experience in supporting AIX, Linux, or Solaris technologies; auto-provisioning, clustering, Kickstart, LPARs, and performance management.
First choice to IBM CATE, RHCE and/or VMWare VCP certified individuals.
Understanding of technology strategies from concept to provisioning and 7x24 operational practice.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain the technology standards around Linux and UNIX deployments and infrastructure. Support Linux DEV, TEST and QA regions. Some off-hours work required. Provide technical liasion/systems integration assistance to approved project initiatives. Opportunity for self-motivated individuals to optionally work at home part-time and participate in flex-time scheduling.
