Senior Water Quality Specialist Job Description:
*** Position is based in Sacramento, CA ***
Our firm offers industry leading salary and benefits compensation. Base salary will commensurate with experience and capabilities. We are a family orientated firm that offers the ability to work from home with supervisor approval. We offer 9 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, 80 hours of sick leave and pay 100 % of the Employee's health and dental insurance! We also offer up to three percent of the Employees base salary, annually. This is a full time position with 40 hrs/week expectations. Working beyond 40 hrs/week is at the discretion of the employee and additional billable hours beyond minimum expectations will be rewarded with profit sharing, up to 25% of Base Salary.
Our ideal candidate will have expertise in assisting Cities, Counties, and Districts in renewing their municipal wastewater NPDES permits, Water Discharge Requirements for land disposal of treated wastewater and Master Reclamation permits. They will also have expertise in managing and preparing water quality impact analysis for environmental documents in accordance with NEPA/CEQA as well as designing, conducting and managing special studies in accordance with State and Federal water quality guidance.
