Kelly Financial Resources (KFR) is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant in Colorado Springs for a Direct Hire opportunity with a global leader in the technology industry. Although this position is in Colorado Springs, candidates in the Denver area will be considered. There may be an opportunity for the Senior Accountant to work the majority of the time from home and go to the Colorado Springs office once a week.
A strong CPA is needed for this role due to the need for a highly analytical, knowledgeable and fast paced position.
Requirements:
-Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
-5+ years of increasing responsibility in Accounting
-Revenue related GAAP knowledge
-CPA
-Analytical and motivated
-Ability to work in fast paced, independent and deadline oriented environment
Sr. Revenue Accountant Responsibilities:
-Journal entries for rebates, open return merchandise authorization and stock rotation
-Account reconciliations
-Ensure revenue compliance and prepare test schedules
-End of quarter revenue cut-off testing
-Ensure proper title and risk of loss have been transferred at cut-off testing
-SOX 404 internal controls participation
-Prep for external auditors
-Prepare lead schedules and other audit items for year-end as well as other audits as necessary
-Address all revenue related issues
-Recommend policy/procedure improvements
Pay is $65-75K
