We are located on 700 feet of private, white sandy beach, this full service Miami resort affords guests to a tradition of exceptional service and uncompromising hospitality. We now seek a dynamic Sales Manager to work with the Director of Sales &Marketing. This position is an excellent opportunity for a proven, experienced hotel/resort sales manager.
* As Sales Manager you will be responsible for marketing the hotel to State and Federal Government, professional groups and meeting planners. Your specific focus will be on the requirement for large meeting convention space. 70,000+
* Specific duties include conducting telephone solicitation calls to generate new business and contacts.
* Greeting and servicing all clients / groups to ensure satisfaction. Follow up on rooming lists, deposits, special requests and any other group information required as per contract.
* Follow-up with all clients through phone calls, letters, and site tours in order to secure contracts and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Generating contracts, updating client files, and entering information into the property management system.
* Participating in professional organizations to meet new prospects and remain updated with industry information and trends.
* Communicating and collaborating with other departments to provide quality services for all groups.
* Participating in special projects as needed. .
Job Requirements: You can work from home, or the Hotel in Miami Beach, You must be self starter, and goals oriented.
You must have legal permission to work in the United States. If not you will not be considered.
