Our client is one of the fastest growing privately owned companies in their industry. They have averaged double-digit revenue increases since 1995. They have accomplished this through being the fastest in terms of customer service in their industry and thus have received extremely high customer service ratings. They are looking to expand coverage in the west coast region.
The Regional Account Rep will be responsible for growth in the Western region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a young, growing company while having immediate impact on the growth of the organization.
The Regional Account Rep will report to the VP Sales &Marketing and will work closely with our sales consultants to develop new contacts in their account base and secure new business in the West. This is an inside and outside sales position, requiring cold-calling, relationship-building on the phone, and in-person appointments. This is a solution sale.
This person will also make presentations to large groups at clients* regional meetings. Travel is required. All expenses are reimbursed.
Total compensation for the first year is around $75-90k. There is NO cap on commissions. 2nd year compensation is over $100k. You will work from home and can be located anywhere in California with access to large airport. Preference to Orange County or Sacramento.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years solutions sales experience with maximum of 11 years sales exp
- Demonstrated sales abilities, account maintenance, cold calling and new business development expertise
- Strong written and verbal skills and outstanding presentation abilities
- Good telephone skills and ability to present on the phone
- PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and contact management tools (i.e. Salesforce)
- Ability to identify the decision-maker and penetrate all levels of an organization
