We are currently expanding operations and looking for a variety of clinical and regulatory professionals across the US. For Project Manger, Project Director, and Director of Project Management the geographic area is open if applicants can work from home and travel (usually ~25% or less). New employees would likely report into one of our main offices in San Diego, Durham, Centreville VA (near Washington DC) or Waltham, MA (near Boston). Opportunities are available within our Phase III, or our Phase IIIb/IV/Patient Registry groups.
Position: Project Manager
Provide overall project management of clinical trials or clinical programs. General areas of responsibility include: project assessment and initiation, resource procurement and planning, project implementation, leading and motivating a cross-functional team, milestone planning and tracking, ensuring that projects are progressing according to quality standards, SOPs, ICH and/or other guidelines to fulfill local regulations, production of key project progress reports, management of communications between PAREXEL project team and sponsor, and contract and financial management.
Requirements
Education: B.S./B.Sc./B.A. in a science or industry-related discipline; M.S./M.Sc./M.A. preferred.
Minimum Work Requirements: 5 or more years of relevant work experience recommended. 2 or more years of Project Management or Management experience recommended (includes time spent as functional Primary or functional/technical Lead).
Skills: Leadership skills that include the ability to build effective project teams, ability to motivate others, delegation, drive and timely/quality decision making. Personal qualities that include the ability to gain trust and confidence with a variety of clients as well as within PAREXEL, good learning ability, managerial courage, action oriented and resilience in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Business/Operational skills that include customer focus, commitment to quality management and problem solving. Influencing skills including negotiation and teamwork. Effective communication skills that include the provision of timely and accurate information to stakeholders, proficient in English, strong written and oral communication skills.
