*The key focus of the Oncology National Account Manager (ONAM) is to develop, manage and execute Wyeth's oncology national accounts strategy. The purpose of this position is to ensure patient and customer access to our products, ensure our sales organization has access to our customers and ensure Wyeth has access to comprehensive sales data with which to make sound business decisions and measure performance. The key partners the position would work with are oncology specific GPO's and specialty distributors, niche service organizations of influence such as P4, Icore Healthcare, and others. The incumbent must strictly abide by all Wyeth policies, Wyeth Code of Conduct and government regulations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :-
*Partner with market sectors key to the success of the BioPharma product mix, which would include but are not limited to group purchasing organizations and trade specific to oncology, key managed care organizations, some specialty pharmacies, prescription benefit managers, the CAP vendor and service organizations of influence.
*Develop, gain approval internally and execute a contract strategy that limits our exposure to risk and leverages the strengths of our partners. Effective strategies will not erode the ASP's of our products, will limit our exposure to risk, will blunt competition and will ultimately maximize the commercial potential of Wyeth oncology product mix.
*Deliver the sales message to key clinical decision makers within our partners and facilitate brining together each department's medical teams when synergies are identified by our partners.
*Be an expert in your field and act as a knowledge resource to the organization. ONAM's have a responsibility to share their unique knowledge and educate sales, marketing and other departments to help them develop more comprehensive and effective strategies. This may include, but is not limited to, conducting presentations at POA meetings and participating in cross-functional task forces.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :-
*Bachelor's degree required
*Master's Degree or other related extended degree, such as Pharm D preferred
*Minimum 4 years of Oncology market experience required.
*Comprehensive understanding of the Oncology marketplace including knowledge of companies and key decision makers required.
*Thorough knowledge of contracts and terminology, language and expectations required.
*Experience in Oncology sales leadership preferred.
*Prior experience working with a key partner preferred.
*National account management experience outside of the Oncology field helpful.
