Description
High energy business to business outside sales professional who will be responsible to market business for Merchant Credit Card products. Knowledge of bank card industry a plus. In person "cold calling" skills strongly preferred. Strong time management and strong verbal/written communication skills are mandatory. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. Customer centered approach, sales experience (2-4 years), excellent presentation skills, and the ability to effectively manage several demanding tasks/projects at the same time. 2 year degree or equivalent preferred. Computer skills required.
This position offers a base salary and a lucrative commission plan and a business allowance for expenses and unlimited earning potential based on your performance. Account Executives work from home. You will receive warm leads from the branch network. Cold calling skills are required for this sales position.
Requirements
In this position you will solicit small to medium sized businesses for Merchant Services processing and acquire new business through cold calling methods. Responsibilities include: prospecting, development/presentation of proposals, coordinating any product meetings/calls as applicable, coordinating any necessary credit and contract review process, setting up accounts, providing exemplary customer service as first point of contact within company and interacting with other areas of the business in order to pursue cross-sell opportunities. You will also call on assigned accounts to maintain existing bankcard processing relationships and assure the profitable pricing of Merchant Relationships. Meet established bankcard revenue and unit goals. Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports as needed. Remain knowledgeable in all phases of Merchant training and operational processes.
