Description
We are currently seeking a Meditech Financial Application Analyst to join our team.
This a work from home position and may require one month in Nashville for orientation and training.
Requirements
1. Serves as the day-to-day contact person for the Customers and Vendors regarding HCIS modules.
2. Provides Tier 2 phone support to clients of the Meditech Service Center.
3. Keeps the Application Support Services Manager, Vice President/Director of Information Systems and associated departments informed of all events affecting the HCIS modules, including but not limited to hardware problems, software testing and personnel training.
4. Acts as project manager, and, when necessary, assists in accomplishing the activities and responsibilities of the Application Analysts assigned (e.g., planning for and conducting training and software testing).
5. Identifies and assists in the resolution of issues reported by the clients arising in the HCIS modules.
6. Works with all Information Systems Department areas (Systems, Operations, and other Service Center representatives) and the Manager of the service center to assure that a consistent approach is followed throughout the installation and maintenance of the HCIS modules.
7. Reviews all custom programming and enhancement requests for appropriateness and completeness that are submitted by the department Application Analysts to determine appropriate action - i.e., pass to Service Center Help Desk, HCIS vendor, change hospital policy or procedure, pass to the hardware vendor, use the report writer, or a combination of these actions.
8. Insures customer needs concerning applications support are met or exceeded.
9. Attends all meetings and training sessions that are approved by management and conducted by HCIS Vendor personnel for the HCIS modules.
10. Documenting, tracking, and following-up on all reported problems, enhancement requests, and system change requests for the HCIS modules.
11. Insures testing all software updates/new releases for the HCIS modules.
12. Assumes on-call responsibilities for after hour support of HCIS modules, responding in a timely manner and documenting occurrences (i.e., problems, calls). Duration of on-call is one full week at a time, rotation depending on staffing.
13. Performs additional duties as assigned. 14. Meditech experience with one or more of the following modules is required: BAR, AP, MM, GL, PP, ESS, CWS
