Job Description
Maya Artists Needed
Kaia inc is seeking experienced Maya artists in a number disciplines. Expert modelers, animators, lighters, dynamic / particle artists, trackers and texture artists are needed for a live action motion picture. Production starts in April and delivers in December. Contracts will range from 2-9 months based on skills and ability to contribute.
Job Description:
Freelance work from home on own equipment. A demonstrated area of 3D expertise is necessary and well rounded 3D artists are preferred. "Jack of all trades master of One"
Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years production experience. Feature film experience and/or 2 years of high caliber freelance work an asset.
Ideal candidate is self directed and values being part of a small team focused on results; positions available:
3) modelers
6) animators
2) lighters
3) dynamics / particles artists (water fire, smoke)
3) 3d trackers (SynthEyes)
3) texture artists
Compensation:
Based on experience, qualified candidates will be compensated at industry rates.
