The ideal candidate will have strong development experience utilizing Java and J2EE and should be well versed in the fundamentals of the Java programming language and the J2EE specification on multiple platforms: iSeries, Windows, and Linux.
Hands on experience developing Websphere Commerce applications experience using IBM products such as WebSphere Application Studio, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Commerce, and/or DB2 and Oracle.
Knowledge of integrating WebSphere Commerce to back-end systems using MQ messaging and web services is preferable.
A good working knowledge of SQL is imperative. Should have experience utilizing best practices and have worked with industry standard design patterns. In addition, knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Java script are also valuable skills. Understanding the importance of documentation and knowledge of unit and integration testing at the coding level is also important.
