CDI is currently recruiting for a long term contractor (1 year plus) for the position of Informix DBA in Bethlehem PA. This position is a W-2 contract remote/ work - from - home . 10% travel if any, on call, weekend work.

Informix DBA
Provide Informix Physical DBA support which involves: the establishment and maintenance of the Informix software; patching the Informix software;establishing and maintaining security (per GSD331); creating/cloning/deleting data bases; problem resolution; performance tuning; backup and recovery of data bases and pro-active monitoring of the environment.
Informix DBA
A minimum of 4 years Informix DBA experience, Working Knowledge of Unix (HP and Sun), strong SQL programming and debugging, ability to provide database monitoring and optimization recommendations, and ability to implement required security configurations
