Description
Purpose:
Our client is located in Irvine (South Orange County) and they are looking for 2 HVAC Journeyman Technicians and two Apprentice HVAC Technicians to join their service team.
About the company:
State of the art Service HVAC Maintenance company that monitors (imonitorenergy.com) all of their client locations (Sears, Kmart, Various Restaurants, Hilton HB, etc.) near Irvine/Lake Forest CA. They are huge on quality, but invest in their workforce (i.e. training etc.) and increase any new employee's capacity to learn. They are not a construction based company, maintenance only.
HVAC Journeymen: $ Pay ranges from $33.00 to $41.00hr (Union Scale, based on current level of exp). If you are currently a union employee then all current pay will remain the same. Selling point: this company guarantees 40hrs of work/pay each every week for Journeymen regardless if they do not work a full 40hrs.
-Job duties will include daily interaction with clients in OC/LA/SD performing repairs and maintenance on HVAC units. They will be issued a company truck and will be responsible for all up keep on vehicles. They will work from home to client and will rarely need to be at corporate.
Requirements:
-Must have chiller/centrifugal exp.
-Must have clean DMV
-Must take/pass HVAC test to gauge exp. level
-Must have own tools (i.e. screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.)
-Medical, Dental, Pension, etc. covered by Union
-Monthly Union Dues (approx. $60-$100 week)
Apprentices: Pay Ranges from $16.00 to $29.00hr (Union Scale, based on current level of exp. yrs 1-5)
-Must have HVAC schooling and a minimum of 1-2 yrs as apprentice.
-Refrigeration exp. is plus and make the best apprentices
-Must have clean DMV
-Must take HVAC test to gauge exp. level
-Must have own tools
-Medical, Dental, Pension, etc. covered by Union
-Monthly Union Dues (approx. $25-$50 week)
Union: These are Union Positions, but Non Union candidates who are interested in joining the Union are welcome to apply and join.
