West Coast Clinical Trials is currently seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator!
The Clinical Research Coordinator will work from home in Pennsylvania or in New Jersey (preferred). West Coast Clinical Trials is a full service Phase I CRO with both an active adult and pediatric unit. We specialize in asthma, hypertension, allergy, diabetes, cholesterol, dermatology, COPD, upper respiratory studies, pediatric and influenza studies. The corporate office is located in Cypress (Southern California) which also houses a large bed capacity unit.
The Ideal Candidate for Clinical Research Coordinator will have ability to answer these qualifying questions:
Knowledge of Drug Development Process?
Basic Understanding of Phase I studies?
Do you have at least 3 years BD experience in clinical research?
Coordinator will be reporting to the V.P. Business Development and Strategy, Business Development Director-EAST. The Clinical Coordinator provides the leadership, industry knowledge and sense of urgency required to bring new business opportunities to WCCT s clinical research activities. The Director will partner with Clinical Operations and Marketing Team and other members of the management team to focus, integrate, coordinate and strengthen WCCT s clinical research activities by successfully presenting WCCT s services to pharmaceutical companies and biotech companies primarily on the East Coast. The Director will also get a pulse on industry trends to improve upon existing strategies. The Director will be a strong marketing person and have a strong knowledge of the drug development process especially in the Phase I area to contribute to the annual company sales objectives.
Clinical Research Coordinator must be able to:
Contribute to the Company s overall business and corporate strategy and activities
Identify, negotiate and close complex clinical trial study proposals with pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
Develop new client relationships; engage effectively; and create / deliver presentations to potential clients.
Work closely with the Sponsor s Lead Client Executives at both the strategic and detail levels in support of the development and maintenance of major client relationships.
Manage client relationships as issues arise.
Assist in proposal development, negotiation's and closing of proposals.
Forecast and forge future business opportunities and niches.
Forecast and stay on top of industry trends.
Requirements
Job Requirements for Clinical Research Coordinator Opportunity include:
MUST HAVE WIDE RANGE OF HEALTH CARE AND PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY CONTACTS
KNOWLEDGE OF DRUG DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
BA Degree in science or marketing, or other related
Excellent written and oral communication skills
7+ years of industry or related experience or 4+ years with an MBA
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, sense of urgency, commitment to deadlines and follow-through.
The ability to work in an open, highly participative team-based environment.
Customer Service focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Travel to client locations required.
