Job Description:
The U.S. Army is looking for more chaplains and Military Service Corps needs your help locating prospective candidates. If you have served as an Army Chaplain and are interested in networking with other clergy and seminarians across the country, we have a great position for you!
Work from your home office and travel to events and meetings in other cities. Anticipated travel: 20%. (Headquarters is in Philadelphia region, but work can be conducted from any CONUS location.)
-Develop ties with churches and denominations recognized by the Armed Forces Chaplain Board
-Establish and build relations with local, state, and regional ministeriums to generate leads for the chaplain mission
-Organize and participate in events targeted to clergy members
-Travel to denominational conventions and conferences
-Coordinate with USAREC to assist in reaching out to college and seminary students
-Network with active and retired chaplains to generate leads for new candidates and to develop mentor program
-Contribute information and articles for periodic newsletters
NOTE: This is a full-time contract position contingent upon the successful award of a U.S. Army contract for a period of at least one year. Option exists for up to four additional years (through April 2012).
