Our client is a European manufacturer of high-end stainless steel swimming pools and water slides that are custom designed for resorts, municipalities, universities and international organizations that host swimming and diving competitions. The organizational structure and nature of this business makes this a unique position, with interesting and unusual clients and company benefits.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
If you like the challenge of developing new business in a regional market from the ground floor this opportunity may interest you.
This Business Development Manager will reside in the metro Chicago area and work from a home office.
From an excellent data source, assembled by the company, the charge of this position is to develop new clients in the central region of the US.
You will call on Park and Recreation directors in municipal governments, architects, consultants and distributors.
Travel, mostly within the region, is estimated at 50%.
As this is a new position, the complete compensation package is yet to be determined.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates that will be contacted and interviewed will show a demonstrated ability to develop new business within a commercial or industrial market.
Candidates who have sold architectural products to the above mentioned markets will be given highest consideration.
Additionally, our ideal candidate will have a four year degree in business or engineering, excellent oral and written communications, and have an interest in sports, health and fitness and recreational activities.
