Job Details; Job title: Lifestyle Health Coach - Bilingual Reports to: Director, Lifestyle Health coaching FLSA status: FULL TIME, PART TIME AND WORK FROM HOME Summary: As a Lifestyle Health Coach, you will be responsible for guiding clients through a self-discovery process which entails (but is not limited to): assessing readiness to change and confidence level of a client and coaching to that level of readiness and confidence, co-creation of a wellness vision and SMART goals, helping the client identify potential/existing obstacles and developing strategies to overcome those obstacles. Job Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree or higher in health promotion, health education, health related field or counseling from an accredited college. Certification: Wellcoaches wellness coach certification or coach training/certification from an accredited professional coach training program. Fluent in Spanish will be a plus Required skill or characteristics: Excellent listening skills. Ability to direct a conversation. Knowledge of and skills in reflective listening, appreciative inquiry, and motivational interviewing. Ability to identify and coach a client through a coaching moment. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to proof documents for grammatical and content accuracy. Exhibit compassion toward all clients, with ability to be firm and straight forward in a professional manner when appropriate. Ability to recognize when it is appropriate to give advice/educate versus coach/guide the client. Demonstrate exceptional judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to coach clients in the same areas as it relates to their well-being. Demonstrate outstanding organizational skills and the ability to independently manage client load as assigned by Manager, Lifestyle Coaching. Hold oneself accountable for all aspects of health coaching and referral into appropriate health resource programs. Knowledge of, commitment to and involvement in the performance improvement process. Ability to speak effectively before diverse groups of customers or employees. Interact with all customers in a respectful, courteous and caring manner. Exhibit enthusiastic, optimistic and friendly attitude. Demonstrate advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to teach, train and mentor fellow employees. Lifestyle Health Coach job functions (other duties may be assigned): Effectively evaluate the coaching process using company standardized forms and procedures. Coordinate all details of client sessions and overall client program. Deliver effective, safe and quality coaching techniques and education as identified by company standards, policies and procedures. Contribute coaching-related and wellness-related expertise to the customers and WellCorp team. Must remain up-to-date with research, products and services in the coaching and health industry. Provide fellow coaches current literature and industry articles on a regular basis. Create and research new program options; assist with product development. Keep accurate records of all client coaching interactions. Respond in a timely manner to all customer and team phone messages, emails and memo, preferably within 24 hours of receipt. Keep accurate records of time spent on each account and tasks performed. Attend all staff meetings and actively participate. Follow WellCorp s operating philosophy. Additional job functions (other duties may be assigned): Assist Lifestyle Coaching Manager to develop and implement standard training programs for new and current lifestyle health coaches. Assist On-Site manager with responsibilities as requested. Assist Integration Services manager with responsibilities as requested. .
