Underwriter
Gather market data for new markets, products, and segments and work with the Peril Unit Leader (PUL) to identify new production opportunities and track competitor activity.
Gather and report information through visit reports, team briefings and market updates for the underwriting personnel.
Provide informal and formal underwriting training as required.
Mentor less experienced underwriting personnel on market conditions, competitors, relationship management, etc.
Meet all file documentation standards, comply with underwriting and authority level standards, and pass all audits (both internal and external).
