Function as a large work unit receptionist providing information to and greeting visitors and the general public.
Operate a multi-button telephone system.
Receive incoming calls, announce callers, take messages and refer caller to appropriate sources.
Place and complete calls as requested.
Receive, open, date-stamp, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
Prepare and maintain records, logs, and filing systems pertaining to area(s) of responsibility.
Check, verify, and file a variety of materials including papers, invoices, forms and documents into appropriate file systems.
Compile, proof, assemble and organize a variety of data/information as related to assigned functions.
Type/keyboard materials such as letters, correspondence, labels, requisitions, and forms from copy, drafts, tapes, or handwritten notes.
Assist all levels of staff providing information and assisting whenever possible.
Order forms, materials, supplies, and equipment upon approval.
Maintain office maps, telephone extensions list for staff, and routine operational records.
Receive, review, and verify documents, records and forms for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
