Assist the Director of Tourism to follow up new contacts established from various sources such as trade shows attended.
Coordinate all aspects of inquiry responses and distribute response packages.
Schedule "Happy Trails" greeting program for visiting tour groups.
Assist in working with the group tour companies to convert the "Happy Trails" greetings into overnight/extended stays at Redflag Sea Hotels.
Assist in conducting travel familiarization tours.
Assist in delivering sales presentations to travel wholesalers and tour operators.
Assist in preparing tour leads for distribution on an ongoing basis to Redflag Sea hotels and attraction partners.
Assist in maintaining working rapport with hotel management, merchants, attraction owners and operators, restaurateurs and their respective associations; encourage and develop participation in Bureau promotions and tie-ins.
Together with the Director of Tourism, act a liaison between participating hotels and attractions, with tour wholesalers and tour operators.
Education
Associate Degree in Hospitality Management University of New York (2002)
