Confer with coworkers to ascertain information regarding customer orders, process steps to be completed during shift, or reason for delays.
Notify supervisor of equipment malfunctions and coworkers to initiate steps in processing of textile goods.
Record information, such as fabric yardage processed, temperature readings, fabric tensions, machine speeds, and delays caused by range malfunctions.
Sew ends of cloth together by hand or using machine to form endless length of cloth to facilitate processing.
Examine and feel products to determine variation from processing standards.
