Work with the Senior Revenues Officer (SRO) to improve collection rate.
Provide administrative and practical support to the SRO in the debt recovery process.
Liaise with external agencies including DWP, Bailiffs, and employers, to maximize opportunities to recover unpaid Council Tax.
Check Council Tax Exception reports and make necessary amendments.
Monitor Post Liability Arrangements.
Answer Counter and Telephone enquiries.
Prepare and check Bailiff Itineraries.
Liaise with Authority's Benefit section where necessary.
Prepare cases for Committal Court.

Investigated cases where post is returned by the Post Office undelivered and conducted enquiries with a view to ascertaining the whereabouts of former occupiers (or of former or present owners) of property.
