Rigger Supervisor
Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in wiring and repairing antenna systems for radio communications and radio and television broadcasting.
Assess the need for and capabilities of various construction-related equipment to assist Task Force personnel in US&R activities.
Identify various rigging techniques to assist in the rescue of victims or stabilization of collapsed buildings, including the development of rigging plans and procedures.
Interact with and coordinate efforts between the Task Force personnel and heavy equipment and crane operators.
Adhere to all safety procedures.
Provide accountability, maintenance, and minor repairs for all issued equipment.
Perform additional tasks as assigned during a mission.

Installed blocks and guy lines for $T3high lead, $T1 slack line, and similar log yarding system.
Cut notch around anchor stumps specified by Hook Tender, using chain saw and ax.
Wrapped cable around stump and secured it in position with spikes and U-bolts.
Installed block, pulled winch cable through block, and secured cable to yarding blocks and guy lines.
Signaled winch operator to haul yarding blocks and guy lines to anchor stumps, and secured them to anchor stumps.
Spliced cable to make rigging parts or repaired broken or worn cable, using marlin spikes, vise, hammer, and wire cutters.
Dismantled yarding system and loaded rigging onto trucks for removal to new yarding site.
Installed yarding cables, $T3choker$T1 cables, cable swivels, carriages, and related rigging.
Rigged and erected wooden spars.
Climbed wooden spars, using climbing spurs and safety rope, to install and repair rigging.
